I had no idea what a foam pad for needle felting would be and I was surprised at its size and weight, given that it was the small one. Very sturdy work surface and I will be able to use this pad for many more projects in the future.

Just what I was looking for.

I wanted something small and this foam pad is a good thickness for my projects. I also got the 29 Half Set A wool top and finished my sample for placement on top of my wool felted beret. I'll be felting it directly on the top, but the image shows my first attempt.

I use this pad every time I felt since I received it. The larger one is a perfect size for any project. I like that I don't have to keep continually moving it or my piece. It's also very dense, not like the little foam ones that end up concave if you felt too much in one area!

I really like this felting pad it's big and seems to keep it's shape. Twig & Berry's website was easy to to use & had a nice variety of products.

Perfect size [large one] and it is really easy to pull up your project without having half of the felt felted to it. I have purchased some foam pads from the store and this is a better quality!!

These felting pads were much firmer than the one I was using. I had a sad little sheep that didn't turn out as good as his brothers. After receiving this firmer pad, getting him into shape and actually looking like a sheep was so much faster and easier than before.
